Herbs

At Siskiyou Women's Health Care women have the option of choosing herbs to complement health and healing. Linda Lieberman is a clinical herbalist, as well as an instructor of herbalism. Her knowledge base for using herbal medicine is both empirical (from experience) and didactic (from studying). As a native Oregonian, born and raised outside of Portland, Linda spent a large portion of her childhood in the natural environment of the Pacific Northwest. She began harvesting herbs for medicinal use during the summer of 1974 and continued to build her skills and empirical knowledge base for herbal healing over the next 27 years.
Over time, she has attended more than three dozen weekend seminars and workshops, featuring leaders in the herbal industry who teach extensively about herbal medicine for health and wellbeing. Linda, and her husband Paul, are dedicated organic gardeners, growing and harvesting herbs and vegetables year around. Linda also wildcrafts many medicinal plants, and expands her knowledge base each year, through hands on application of the plants she has grown to love. She occasionally teaches herbal classes which include field work and medicinal preparation: Healing Plants, Healing Women, in Jackson County, Oregon.

Linda also assisted Patricia Mather, at Pacific Holistics , to formulate new herbal remedies specific to mothers' and babies' needs during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Pacific Holistics is a family-based business on the Big Island of Hawaii, creating numerous natural pest elimination products to replace commonly used substances containing toxins.
A popular and effective Pacific Holistics creation is Koo-dies, a natural lice shampoo that works! Take a look at their products; they could make a difference in your life.
